Humanities 10/5 & 10/6

Please remember to bring in your summer reading papers to add to your portfolio. Go to our mtsd-vt.org website, click on Apollo and on the right hand side click on "reading lists" and the papers will be there.

Storyboards need to be completed - Choose 2 of the 4 topics--natural rights, representative government, consent of the governed, and separation of powers. You can create 2 quality pictures one for each topic or create a series of 5 mini boxes for each topic. Be sure your pictures answer the what (which trait), who (who did it come from), why (why do we want it in our government), and where. Please use your notes see link on table of contents list in Humanities portfolio file called "Where do these traits come from"?

10/5/09 Science

Students will identify the major parts of the scientific method (O.H.E.C.) this week in Apollo science.  We will take a closer look at the "O" portion of the method by developing our observational skills with several fun and engaging activities.  Students should be getting plenty of rest at night on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for the NECAP testing.  To accommodate the demands of this test, our work load will be light this week.  However, students can and should be making up any missing/late assignments AND if we haven't met regarding your "Know Thyself" project, you should schedule an appointment with me within the next couple of days.
