4/25 Science

Students need to assemble and complete their projects for Wednesday's (4/27) Energy Convention. Students are encouraged to use their reads/needs time wisely and stay afterschool if needed.

Science Energy Convention 4/27

Greetings Students, Parents & Guardians,

Welcome back! You are cordially invited to attend Apollo Science's Alternative Energy Convention on Wednesday, April 27th in Milton Ms/Hs' Library. Students have been working diligently to create a project that demonstrates how a particular type of alternative energy source works. We would like you to join us and share in their learning. Students will present their projects during their scheduled science class time. Please consult with them as to what time you should attend. Our class times are listed below:

1) 7:50-8:50 (Ravens-8th grade group)
2) 8:50-9:50 (Hawks-7th grade group)
3) 10:00-11:00 (Crows-7th grade group)
4) 11:00-12:00 (Snakes-8th grade group)

We hope to see you there!

4/8 Science

Students should annotate and finish the "visionlearning" reading on energy. Students should fill out a learning log for Friday's class. This assignment is due on Monday, 4/11.

Thursday, April 7, 2011

4/7 Science

Students should write a learning log entry tonight based on today's convection lesson. This assignment is due at the beginning of class tomorrow, 4/8.

Students are also encouraged to make test corrections! Parents/guardians should sign their student's matter 2 assessment.

Wednesday, April 6, 2011

4/6 Science

Students received their matter tests back today. They are encouraged to meet with me if they are interested in making corrections on it. Parents/Guardians should ask their student to see the test and have a conversation around that. Students should also complete a learning log tonight for homework due tomorrow, 4/7.

4/6 Math

7th grade
Students continued working with linear relationships.
Finish problem 1.3, A.

8th grade
Students began new investigation on congruency.
For practice, 3ACE #'s 1-4.

Tuesday, April 5, 2011

4/5 Math

7th grade
Students completed investigation 1.2 on linear relationships.
For practice, 1ACE #'s 3 and 20
*Tonight is the last night to get unit tests signed!

8th grade
Students corrected and dissected their quizzes.

4/5 Science

Students should see me if they are interested in making test corrections on their matter assessment. Students should also make a 2nd entry into their learning log tonight for homework. This assignment is due at the beginning of class tomorrow, Wednesday, 4/6.
