Apollo Science

This week in Apollo Science, students will observe a variety of cells under a microscope and learn the importance of scientific drawing.  On Tuesday, students will take a quiz on the 2 basic cell types and begin a three-day long investigation (osmosis in a cell) showing them how substances move across the cell membrane.  They will learn key terms like diffusion, osmosis and active transport.  From there, students will learn about the structure and function of the cell's organelles.  As always, this week promises to be engaging and meaningful.
