Apollo Science

This week in Apollo science, students will design and conduct an experiment that tests how changing the salinity of a solution affects an elodea's osmotic balance. We will use this lab to review how to write a lab report and the structure and function of key plant cell organelles (i.e., cell wall, chloroplasts). Also this week, students will learn about the four chemical compounds found within cells and their role in cell processes. Towards the end of the week, students will brainstorm/outline a narrative story about a journey through a cell. We are off to a great start for Q3!
